The SAARC Federation of Oncologists-Nepal (SFO-N) is a national body dedicated to advancing cancer care across its eight member nations under the broad umbrella of SAARC Federation of Oncologists (SFO) – which is the regional body. SFO as one of the 18 recognized organizations under SAARC, the SFO and SFO-N fosters collaboration among oncology professionals to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and palliative care. It addresses the region's unique challenges through CMEs, conferences, workshops, and training programs. the SFO facilitates knowledge exchange, promotes research, and advocates for standardized cancer management protocols tailored to South Asia's unique challenges, including rising cancer incidence and disparities in healthcare access.

Through regional and international collaboration, SFO-Nepal ensures that oncology professional remain integrated into SAARC-wide initiatives, benefiting from shared knowledge, collaborative research, technological advancements, and multidisciplinary trainings and skill enhancement programmes. SFO-Nepal is constantly working to reduce the cancer burden, improve survival rates, and promote equitable access to quality oncology care across the region through unified strategies, best practices, capacity building, and cross-border partnerships.
