Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am truly honored and humbled to serve as President of the SAARC Federation of
Oncologists-Nepal (SFON). I want to express my sincere gratitude to our past president and
the executives for their dedication and leadership. As we continue our journey in advancing
cancer care across the SAARC region, I am reminded of the tremendous responsibility we
carry and the impact we can make together in cancer care.
Since our establishment in 2001, SFON has been at the forefront of promoting excellence in
oncology practice through education, capacity building and skill transfer. Our organization
has grown from a small group of oncologists to a comprehensive network of oncology
subspecialty spanning across the SAARC region.
Together, we are moving with common shared goal of improving cancer care in the region
through academic networking, shared knowledge, research collaboration and innovation. I
trust, it is through our collective effort we as oncology community continue to grow and
succeed.
I request and encourage all our members to actively participate in SFON activities, contribute
to academic and research initiatives, and help grow stronger together as an organization.
Collectively, we can make a significant difference in this march against cancer care.
